Each year the Retired nurses division prepares two professional meetings whose programmes include issues proposed by the members.
At the time of its establishment the Zasavje Branch included all the nurses working in local healthcare institutions. Today it includes the nursing staff of the Zasavje region, namely: Hospital Trbovlje, Community Health Centres in Hrastnik, Trbovlje, and Zagorje, Retirement Homes in Hrastnik, Trbovlje and Izlake, the retired nurses, midwives and health technicians in the Zasavje region, and the employees of privately owned healthcare institutions.
